About Joy Academics
My name is Michelle Brown.
I am a Reading Interventionist and a mother.
As a teacher and a parent I see the need for an affordable program to help students who are behind in foundational skills needed to succeed in school.
What sets me apart from other programs is price. It is important to me to offer quality and affordable reading and math support in the community that I live in. I want to make a mark on our community and provide support to our students.
I am a licensed teacher with a Maters degree in teaching and learning. I have worked in several school settings as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, and an alternative classroom teacher.
I plan to use all my years of experience and knowledge to help your child reach their potential.

Support & Intervention
Closing the learning gap one child at a time
District report cards show that students are below average. With the recent pandemic, that gap has widened. We believe it is critical to focus on learning solutions that are founded on research and evidence.
At Joy Academics, our programs cater to students who are at least one grade level behind; and need additional academic time.
